A Simple Spring Wreath + More DIY Rustic Romantic Decor Ideas!

With Valentine’s Day coming up next week and Spring on the horizon (I can’t WAIT!), I want to share with you how to make a very simple rustic romantic wreath that works for both seasons PLUS a few more easy rustic romantic DIY decorating ideas!

I found this grapevine heart wreath base at a craft sale years ago, and the addition of some faux fabric peonies and greenery makes it extra sweet to use as decor in our dining room.

To make this wreath, simply start with a grapevine wreath base (a heart shaped one is extra romantic), and use a hot glue gun to glue some DIY fabric peonies of a few different sizes in place. I liked this asymmetrical layout, but you can play with your flower layout before you commit to the glue.

Add some lambs ear and small white floral picks as desired on either side of the peony bunch, and your wreath is complete. Easy! I also added some small birch bark hearts to my wreath that were leftover from another craft that you’ll see below.

This wreath is a soft and lovely addition to our dining room.

I also added some romantic pillows to our settee and did a few more DIYs to complete the decor.
