How to Style a Mantel – Tip Tuesday

I love decorating our fireplace mantel to celebrate each season! I use the same simple formula almost every time, and I like how easy it is to get a cohesive and beautiful looking vignette on my mantel. Let me share my simple mantel decorating formula with you today!

I like to start with a large focal point in the center of my mantel like this giant DIY reclaimed wood clock I made. Next, I anchor each side of the mantel with a smaller pair of objects like these topiaries.

Then, I divide a group of items like these candlesticks into two. I put some on each side of my focal point.

Finally, I fill in the spaces with smaller objects like faux florals.
