Make a Spring Tea Station
Come make a beautiful Spring themed tea station in aquas and lavenders on a wooden tiered tray. This would be perfect for a Spring party, for Easter, or for Mother’s Day!
One of my favourite pieces to style is this wooden tiered tray I found a few years ago. (I purchased it from Pick Your Plum, but you can find similar trays right here in my new Amazon Shop!) Whether it’s filled with cupcakes or decorative items, I always love how it looks as a unique decor accessory for each season. For Spring, I thought it would be fun to set it up as a pretty little tea station!
This project is part of a cake stand challenge that I’m taking part in with some other fabulous creators. After you read my post, make sure to check out the bottom of this entry to see what my friends made with their cake stands.
My inspiration for this tea station – and all of my Spring decor this year, for that matter – was a beautiful lavender purple & aqua blue teapot and mug set that I found at Chapters.
I don’t usually decorate with tones of purple, but the beautiful combo of the lavender and aqua inspired me to bring it into my home this season.
Then, I found these watercolour floral napkins on sale at Simons, and my tea station theme was set: lavender, aqua, and soft florals. It’s a Springy match made in heaven!
I put the tiered tray tea station together by filling some small mason jars and glass containers I had on hand with loose teas and honey and placing them on the stand. A pretty mug that matched my new tea duo along with some faux lavender and mini birds nests also look beautiful on the tray.
For a little sparkle, I added some mercury glass tea light holders and copper tea spoons, too.
Beside the tiered tray is another smaller cake stand that holds my new tea pot, and a lavender scented candle and essential oil diffuser help set the mood.
I think this sweet setup would make for such a fun mother-daughter afternoon date at home, or for a party this Spring. And what about Easter or Mother’s Day? I think there would be so many great opportunities to dress up a tiered stand like this!
