Our Updated Back to School Kitchen Command Center (With Free Printable Chore Charts!)
It’s still unbelievable to me to think that Little C starts grade 2 this month. What?! She was just a teeny tiny bum-scooting baby a few years ago. As I wrap my head around this, I’m also a little terrified because I’m not the most organized person in the world. At all. I need all the help I can get when it comes to cleaning and organizing my life and my kids’ activities. With this in mind, I made it a priority last week to tidy up our kitchen command center for back to school and make some new chore charts for my girls to help us get back into a routine.
You might remember our kitchen command center from a couple of years ago.
It’s still almost the same, but I’ve rearranged a couple of things.
First of all, I got rid of the paper calendar that I had beside the middle clipboard. It was really useless in our home. My hubby and I have a Google calendar on our phones that we share, and that works best for us. My phone gives me notifications, and I REALLY need those to remember all of our appointments and events.
To replace that, I put a piece of chalkboard vinyl I received from Expressions Vinyl to jot down random notes.
I still have the same artwork up, and you can find a link to download the free “grace of God, love and coffee” printable right here.
Another new addition are these new chore charts for my girls. I’ve slowly realized that I need to get more consistent at encouraging them to help, and these chore charts have been doing the trick! You can download them for free by clicking the links below:

I feel so much better after getting this little corner organized again! Now it’s on to the rest of the house… wish me luck!
I really love your cork board, it’s so pretty!!
