Romantic Bedroom Decor Ideas
With Valentine’s Day coming up, there’s no better time than now to add a little extra romance to your bedroom with these simple ideas! Here are some easy, romantic bedroom decor ideas and how I’ve incorporated them in our own modern French country master bedroom.
A soft colour scheme incorporating romantic colours like pink and white can make your bedroom feel extra sweet. In our bedroom, I’ve thrown some pink into the mix with throw pillows and candles.
Bed: Hancock Park King Bed from The Brick | Chair: Caroline Wing Chair from The Brick | Drapes: DIY | Faux Fur Pillows: DIY | Knit Blanket: DIY | Nightstand: Nicolet Accent Cabinet from The Brick
Soft and furry textiles like giant knit blankets and faux fur pillows encourage cuddling. Here’s how to make your own arm-knit blanket and here’s how to make a DIY faux fur pillow.
Warmly lit candles on your bedside tables add mood lighting to a room, and fresh or faux flowers like roses will add a romantic feeling to any space.
If you have room, a bedroom coffee station will encourage you to linger in your romantic bedroom a little longer. If you don’t have the space, a plate for coffee and sweet treats on the nightstand is a decadent touch.
Ribbons, bows, and lacey textiles can add a vintage romantic feeling to your bedroom decor. I tied a scrap of floral fabric to our cabinet pulls for a unique, feminine touch.
Sweet, romantic dreams! ♥

I love the detail of adding fabric to the cabinet pulls! The ceiling in this space is amazing, is that wallpaper?

This is so different than the usual red, gold and silver Valentine’s Day design. I would prefer this over the conventional thing. Thanks for the natural colors and cool little details Christina!
Thanks, Kostas!
